Arranged marriage is famous in India but this concept might sound impractical to the Western world or to the rest of the world. Arranged marriages are considered as one of the most valued and preferred marriages among rest of the marriages to the Indian families. Such marriage trends are not new in India. Earlier in India Child marriage was done. Such marriages were arranged even before the birth of child. Earlier the main motive to do so is to maintain the difference between the rich upper class society and the poor lower class society which is even now can be seen in India which in turn gave rise to the concept of arranged marriages in India. But now Inter cast arranged marriages are also getting famous in India. Basically arranged marriages are done in the presence and agreement of all family members. One advantage of arranged marriage is that it gives the parents of bride and bridegroom the control over almost all important family matters as well as on members. Success of arranged marriages depends on the understanding and acceptance of two families (which is most important).As the time is changing type of arranged marriages are also changing for example if both families are agreed then arranged love marriages can also be done and this trend is also gaining popularity and success rate is also high in such marriages.
