Chinese marriages are very traditional and reflect the historical shadow. Mostly as being said by many, these Chinese marriages are based on Nuwa and Fu Xi . It is believed that Nuwa and Fu Xi firstly invented complete marriage procedures that one need to follow after becoming married. In ancient History of china, society people having the same surname allowed or considered to marry one another and if they do so, it’s considered as act of incest. But, interestingly doing marriage to maternal relatives was not considered as act of incest at that time. In such cases families sometimes intermarried from one generation to another too. As time passed Chinese people became more geographically mobile and trends in marriages gets changed too with this mobility Now Couples were married in an extra-clan marriage, which is also known as antithetic marriage (this is believed to occur in around 5000 BC.). When a married couple died the cremation of husband and the wife is done separately in the respective clans’ graveyard, it’s just similar to Hindu religion of India.
